UV Accelerated Weathering Test Chamber
The Bench-top UV Light Accelerated Aging Test Chamber is designed for conducting accelerated aging tests using ultraviolet (UV) light, temperature, and water exposure. It is primarily used to predict the durability of non-metallic materials, including coatings, plastics, and rubber. This chamber is especially effective for assessing the physical performance degradation of materials, such as reduced gloss, haze, strength loss, chalking, cracking, blistering, embrittlement, and color fading.
While the test results from this UV aging chamber cannot fully replicate natural weathering, it provides a reliable and quick way to assess the relative durability of materials. This makes it a valuable tool for evaluating the anti-aging properties of materials, testing and improving new or existing formulations, and ensuring consistent product quality.
