The salt spray (or corrosion resistance) test is an international standardized and popular corrosion test method, used to check corrosion resistance of materials and surface coatings. Salt spray testing is popular because it is relatively low cost, quick result, well standardized, and easily repeatable. Salt spray testers create a consistent corrosive environment for the researchers to evaluate the coating properties of products in many industries.
Testlabs's Salt Spray Test Chamber help the industries to create a corrosive fog in a controlled test environment. Our chamber with capacity ranging from 108L to 800L is used to test the quality of anti-corrosion materials protected by any coating, electroplating, paint and anodizing.
Our salt spray chamber is built to meet stringent international standards including ASTM B117, ASTM B268JIS D0201 and JIS H8502. The tester can perform different salt spray method like Neutral Salt Spray Method (NSS) 35 ± 1 °C and Copper Accelerated Acetic Acid Salt Spray (CASS) 50 ± 1 °C.
